Mega Tuna Pie

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of Mega Tuna Spanish Style
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 2 tbsp of white onion, minced
  • 2 tbsp of carrots, minced
  • 2 tbsp of kamote, minced
  • 3/4 cup of All-Purpose Cream
  • 1 cup of cubed cheese
  • 1/2 tsp of pepper
  • 1/2 pc of tasty bread
  • 2 eggs, scrambled
  • 1 cup of bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying
Instructions:

  1. Melt the butter and sauté the onions, carrots, and kamote for 2 minutes.
  2. Add the All-Purpose Cream and cheese until smooth.
  3. Season with pepper and add the drained Mega Tuna Spanish Style. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Trim off the crust of the bread and flatten it using a rolling pin.
  5. Apply 2 tbsp of the tuna filling in the center of the bread, seal the sides using a fork.
  6. Freeze for at least an hour.
  7. Cover the pie in scrambled egg and toss in bread crumbs until fully covered.
  8. Deep fry in oil until golden brown.
