Simmered Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Egg

  • 2 cans Mega Premium Bottled Sardines TSO
  • 1 pc large onion, halved and thinly sliced
  • 1 pc green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 3 pcs garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 can whole tomatoes
  • 2 pcs eggs
  • To taste salt & pepper
  • 1 tsp curly parsley
  1. Drain the sauce of Mega Premium Bottled Sardines TSO. Set aside sardines.
  2. Sauté onion, garlic, and bell pepper using the oil from the sardines.
  3. Stir in cumin, paprika. Mix until fragrant then add canned tomatoes and sardines. Bring to simmer.
  4. Season with salt and pepper. Gently crack eggs over the mixture then cover for 2-3 minutes or until the eggs are cooked.
  5. Garnish with parsley. Serve and enjoy.
