Mega Sardines Tempura

Recipe Ingredients:
  • 2 cans Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce
  • 1 L cooking oil Tempura Batter
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 pc egg, large
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • To taste salt & pepper¬†
Sauce Ingredients: 
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 tsp white radish, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • Use the tomato sauce
Instructions: 
  1. Drain the sauce of Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce. Set aside.
  2. Beat egg in a bowl then mix cold water until well incorporated. Add the flour and mix to create a thick and lumpy batter.
  3. Dip the sardines in the batter and deep-fry until golden brown.
  4. Mix ginger, radish, soy sauce, mirin, and brown sugar in a bowl to create the sauce.
  5. Serve together and enjoy.
