Mega Sardines Sarsilog

Ingredients:
  • 1 can Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Chili 
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil 
  • 1 pc red onion, sliced 
  • 2 pcs garlic cloves, minced 
  • Sinangag 
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil 
  • 2 pcs garlic cloves, minced 
  • 1 cup leftover rice 
  • To taste salt & pepper 
  • 1 pc egg, large 
  • 1 tbsp Atchara (optional) 
Instructions:
  1. Sauté onion and garlic in oil until fragrant. Add Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Chili bring to simmer then set aside. 
  2. In a separate pan, cook egg. Set aside. 
  3. Sauté garlic in oil until fragrant then stir in leftover rice. Season with salt and pepper. 
  4. Assemble the silog on a plate and serve with atchara.
