Mega Sardines Egg Drop

Yield: 2-3 Servings | Time: 25 Mins

Ingredients: 
  • 2 cans Mega Corned Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Chili
  • 2 tsp Oil 1 pc Garlic Clove
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1/2 tbsp Onion Leeks (White part)
  • 2 cups Chicken Stock
  • 2 cups Water
  • 3 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 pcs Eggs
  • To taste salt & pepper
Instructions:
  1. Crack 2 eggs and beat it well. Set aside.
  2. Saute garlic, ginger, and spring onion in oil until fragrant.
  3. Add Mega Corned Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Chili and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in 2 cups of chicken stock. Bring this to a boil.
  5. Mix 3 tbsp of cornstarch and 3 tbsp of water together.
  6. When the chicken stock is boiling, slowly pour in the cornstarch water and stir it.
  7. Slowly add the beaten eggs while continuously stirring.
  8. Season with salt and white pepper to taste.
  9. Serve it in a bowl. Garnish with chopped leeks.
