Ingredients:
- 1 can Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce with Chili
- 1 pc red onion, large, minced
- 5 pcs garlic cloves, minced
- 1 pc medium carrot, finely chopped
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- To taste salt & pepper
- 1L cooking oil BBQ Sauce
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup tomato ketchup
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- To taste salt & pepper
Instructions:
- Drain the sauce of Mega Sardines in Tomato Sauce. Set aside.
- Transfer sardines to a bowl. Mix all the ingredients until well incorporated.
- Deep-fry the sardine balls. Set aside.
- In a pan, mix all the bbq sauce ingredients and the drained spicy sardine sauce. Bring to simmer.
- Once the sauce thickens, turn off the heat. Add the fried sardine balls. Mix to incorporate sauce.
- Serve and enjoy.
