Lemon, Mega Sardine, Green Olives Bucatini Pasta

Yield: 2-3 Servings | Time: 25 Mins

Ingredients:
  • 1 can Mega Premium Bottled Sardines Olive Oil
  • 250 g bucatini pasta
  • 5 pcs garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp green olives, sliced
  • ½ cup reserve pasta water
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • To taste salt & pepper
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp flat leaf parsley, chopped
Instructions:
  1. Boil pasta according to package instruction until 2 minutes less than al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, set aside.
  2. Drain the sauce of Mega Premium Bottled Sardines Olive Oil. Set aside sardines.
  3. Sauté garlic, olives, and chili flakes in olive oil from the sardine.
  4. Add the drained sardines to the pan, stirring carefully, so as not to break the sardines up too much.
  5. Add reserved pasta water then stir in cooked pasta, season with salt and pepper.
  6. Turn off heat then pour lemon juice. Mix well.
  7. Garnish with lemon zest and parsley.
