PROCEDURE:
1. Saute the onions and garlic with some olive oil in a medium sauté pan over medium heat then pour in the crushed tomatoes and the Mega Creations Premium Spanish Style Bottled Sardines in Tomato Sauce and Oil (red).
2. Season it with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.
3. Simmer it for a minute then turn off the heat.
4. Spoon some of the sauce in to an oven proof serving dish and place the toasted bread over the sauce.
5. Place a piece of sardine on top of each bread slice then spoon some more of the sauce over them.
6. Sprinkle the mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top then bake them until the cheese starts to bubble and brown.
7. Sprinkle with fresh basil leaves on top before serving.
